i've listened through his website selection...

most of it sucks. real bad. i dont think it represents what stefanovski is able to do, but its his choice of music at the time.
though let me tell you. live and with just 2 acoustics, nothing else, it sounds completely diferent.

and vai sucks? you got no idea how wrong you are

wow..reading this thread makes me realize how different my tastes are. for example, I can't listen to satriani or vai at all. stefanovski to me is a guitar god. I think there is some cr@ppy stuff on his site but have you heard Bistra Voda?? I think he's amazing on CD, not just live but ah well, each to his own. I'm still not over this electric, live version of bistra voda I got my hands on...just amazing. well anyway, I hope some of you enjoyed it and I didn't waste your time  :)

I really like it!
Plain old good musicianship IMO.....ie the end result is good music, not just good guitar playing!

I_can't_play, interestingly, I also can't listen to Vai or Satriani, at all, ever.

indysmith, fair play you don't like it, but you do appreciate that not all music is meant to make you want to dance right?! I mean what did people do when there was just classical music? I don't think they got bored!
Take opera as well - some people pay money to sit still for 3 hours and get sung at but they still enjoy it for what it is!
