What do you guys think? I love the sound of the whammy pedal and all the crazy things that you can do with it, BUT I also have a guitar with EMG's...ICK...which I would love to put a pair of BKP's in. What do you guys think?

I'd definitely put the priority on the BKPs. You'll appreciate these every time you plug in - the whammy you'll use a lot less (once you're out of the honeymoon period).

It's the same with most effects, you buy it, love it for a bit, then it's just another effect. Get the BKP's.

Yeah, so, I'm a new owner of BKP's...stupid tech hasn't installed them yet though. :( But, I am in the market for another set seeing as I KNOW I'm going to like my new Nailbombs. I just need to decide what my needs are sonically and what combo would be right for my LTD MH-301 (super strat w/ floyd). I was almost leaning towards Miracle Man bridge, Cold Sweat neck, though I am becoming more of a progressive/jazz fusion player. Transitional phases and all that.

Whammy eh..

A guitar bloke i know borrowed a Morley 'Power Phase Flange Wah' (its got no name on it, but it looks like a wah pedal and makes a flanging type noise and has a 'phase' dial on it lol!!) pedal, its some old stainless stell pedal with loads of dials, as you move the pedal it alters the phase\flange and stuff...

Its CRAZY. It sounds like he's digitaly sped up\slowed\reversed the solo he used it on and panned it about, its just weird!

Buy one of those! Whammys are meh, every man and his dog uses em ;)
