Ok. I could get a Guitar port but I have Amplitube and others, so really all I need is a zero latency interface for my p.c. What can you guys suggest?

I am still in US but is it much more in pounds than a toneport?
Anyway, not alot of help sorry, but it does RAWK after the free upgrade.

Other than that I think ya need a firewire solo or firebox or summit, which is abit more than the sale Black Box.

I'm using a focusrite saffire, and that works great. You can use its few effects, if you want, or use some effects just for monitoring while your playing in, or use it dry like I do, then add any effects etc in Logic Pro 7. Works really well with v low latency, I've never noticed any.

Just wondering.. anyone used an M-Audio Jamlab? It seems like a cheaper version of the Rifftracker/Guitarport.. but can you even record on Jamlab?

I wouldn't worry too much about latency with sound cards these days, the general quality is VERY high, even for a few hundred quid.

I've been using a Midiman Delta1010 for the past 5+ years - I've had no latency problems whatsoever.  I seem to remember that letency was more of an issue with midi recording/playback.

I would recommend the Midiman stuff if you want to go the digital recording route and get a Mackie desk for routing signals.
