Request: Holydiver doing metal

Can someone do a kind of Megadeth/Metallica kind of thing with a Holydiver? Or just some metal riff/tune?

Cheers, Joe

Nice playing!

The holy driver is a lot tighter than I thought it was. I might buy it instead of the Nailbomb, unless someone can show me how tight the Nailbomb can get.

Not to take this thread too far afield, but to my ears, the Holy Diver has a richer midrange boost and more low end growl. The Nailbomb has more upper mids and high frequency detail. My notes have the Holy Diver listed as "chunkier" and the Nailbomb as being "percussive".

Edit: oh, and thanx for the nice comments! :)

Thanx, ant!

The guitar on that video is an ESP M1 Tiger. The amp is a Splawn Quick Rod. Cabs are a Rivera 4x12 and a Hiwatt 4x12.

Are there any morer 'extreme' metal clips of the holy diver, if not can someone do one, it would be very much appreciated.

Edit: Maybe some thrash riffs and/or a death metal riff.

I would do one, but the Holy Diver has already been removed from my guitar ... it was on loan from another forum bro.

That sucks, so, are you going to buy one after you test drive?

Not for that guitar. The Holy Diver has a bit more of a mid push than what I am looking for in that particular guitar.

Yar, i understand, im not too fond of a middish sound, it's with lead though, obviously. Never heard of splawn amps, looks cool though. Why 2 different cabs, mate?

Both of those cabs were chosen purely for their sonic qualities. It's a mish mash, but sounds great!
