in my head they have blue nike ticks and adidas stripes on... thats the only problem.

Lol yeah i see your point...I've just bought a MIM strat to mod, and ima get it sprayed Black, with a black pickguard...and then ima put white pickups, knobs and switchtips etc on it...I just thought it'd be cool to have covers, but open poles would be better now i think about it...

It's funny, after i decided to do it like this i saw a picture of dave gilmour in guitarist magazine with a guitar exactly like that (except with single coils instead of HB's :P )

yeah i say go for it too - white covers would looks fit on an all black guitar for sure 8)
