It must feel good to have someone in the audience and say that. Nice one!

It sounds like Steve's band only had 1 person in the audience!
Only joking, i have played Steve's strat with the slow hands in and its a real nice guitar.

Actually Steve, you are not far wrong- we played at a house party
( beautiful house and grounds) and there were not that many people there- only about 40-great well paid gig though.

I think you're both looking at it the wrong way.

Which guitar to take?

The one that matches your stage attire the best!!!!!!!!!!!

Trouble is none of my mine match my jock strap and waders.

I bet it is a sky blue jock strap just like the one worn (in more ways than one) by Chris Glenn of the Sensational Alex Harvey Band. That'd go well with yellow waders.

Yep - you're spot on. Just painting on my Zal Cleminson clown face and I'm off to sing "Delilah"  :D (Sorry this will be complete bollocks to anybody under 30  :? )

Surely it would have to be 'Next' or 'Faith Healer' and the green cat suit!

I spent some time educating Sambo about Alex Harvey a few weeks ago, thanks to youtube.com. Zal Clemonson I associate so much with the SG I'm wondering what he sounds like with the G&L he has been using since SAHB reformed.

Hi Johnny- I would love to get some IT's- I will have to get another Strat which I am up for but not sure about the Mrs. I am a fan of Rory G as well as SRV and I can imagine they'd be superb for that sort of stuff - not that the Apaches or S/H's are lacking- trouble is, I'd spend ages trying to decide what to play and would be late for the gig. I don't know how guys like Tim and Phil King cope- they are truly legends.

I know what you mean, they can be hard to justify sometimes! (Those Japanese imports look good! )

Blimey Tellboy, I may have been at that very gig- I used the frequent the Kursaal quite a lot in the 1970's. I'd have been 15 or 16 at the time.

I was lucky enough to see SAHB 2 weeks ago and Zal was playing a strat with a single humbucker.
Chris Glenn was there - no jockstrap though

They were supporting Def Leppard and they were really good - FAith Healer and NEXT were brilliant

this a short video of my Strat clone with Apaches. Although it sounds terrific the video has no audio .... shame on me! Oh well I'll be posting something a bit more "juicy" soon!
