In the studio...

Hi eveyone at BKP - just to say I was in the recording studio this weekend, with my Irish Tour loaded strat. Wicked time, but the best time for me was when the producer/sound engineer turned to me and said how nice my tone was. I just said to him check out BKP's - they kick ass. I love the fact they work well in both live and studio environments and the tonal range I got of of my Strat was unreal. Cheers!

I've had that, one of my strats, a Bare Knuckle made strat actually, has Sultans in, it also has no name on the headstock so everone assumes it's not so great....you should have seen this producers face when I cranked it through my Super reverb and Keeley TS9......he wasn't happy (he'd just bought Kinmans!) :P

I hope it isn't me being ignorant but, when I go to see a band live, when the guitar player uses single coils, I've never actually noticed a buzz from the guitars.  Could it be some fancy rack mounted doo-dah, I don't know, but I've never found it a problem (unless bar-steward computer monitors are nearby, then they buzz like a wasp on coke).

Ditto, very rare it's areal problem, unless you play very soft, then there might be problems. If there's too much buzz, just play more notes.....

You mean there is thought there? Surely not ( sorry Yng just joking 'k). I have never had noise problems with single coils and I've played some dives in my time with dodgy mains electricity. It can be a bugger in the studio though.
