Lol I can steal some deionised water from the Chem Lab if you need some - and it comes in an ultra cool squeezy bottle with a little straw type thing on the end :P

Nah, I just use a lot of the super super twin polished 35 megaohm purity stuff in work. If it comes out of a tap here, and someone needs it...

The best stuff is the high purity alcohol we use, cleans stuff up a treat, and evaporates in seconds with no residue. Plus it makes your hand all tingly as it evaporates on it.

Right, so that Planet Waves humidifier - where do I put that? I don't think it will fit in the guitar's case.

Tech phoned me today, neck needs planing and fret dress, or maybe even completely scr@pping. Will find out more when I go and pick it up on Tuesday.

Yeah, you're supposed to put it in the case.  Surely there's room somewhere!  If it won't fit, perhaps you ought to get a new case?

A guy in a local music store told me a trick for keeping a guitar humidifed.  He said, 'Put an apple core in there and your guitar will stay humidified and smell of apples!'  Yeah, and I bet the case would start growing stuff inside it, too.
