This Strat is a mate's but he wasn't too keen on it but a luthier who -incidentally is building my custom Strat - has done a fantastic job. Don't you think??

What type of finish is it? (poly/nitro etc)

It needs white pickups, switchtips etc like the dave gilmour one...I was considering getting mine done like that but i think it's out of my price range

You keep the pickups; just the covers get swapped. You can switch all the covers and the switch tip for $20.

Yeah, i know that...that's what i meant - but he can get BK's (if it doesn't already have them)

Oh you meant about my comment about too expensive - i meant getting it sprayed back, not buying the hardware :P

I initially thought "what? that looks awesome!", but that Strat looks damned slinky in black, it goes great with the colour of the neck too. How old's that thinline by the way? It's a tasty looking fiddle too. 8)

Hmmm ... the body, maybe. There's no bullet truss rod, tho -- and no pics of the back to show if it's a 3 bolter.

I would say its a 4 bolt, just a guess though.

Well, I just got a total education from PhilKing about that guitar, lol

It is a 4 bolter with a rosewood trussrod plug. (Original Strats use a walnut plug) Radius and profile are PROBABLY 70s, and it is indeed a 70s anniversary model.

finished in black nitro of course!!!
