I think I'd prefer the Ducati in the wet over a Harley any time- however Rock and Roll a Harley may be.

Are you mad?!   Attempting to control a bike with over a hundred horses on tap in slippery conditions is a complete nightmare! I had a 748 for a while a couple of years ago, Ducati make truly wonderful bikes but really you'd be stupid to go riding them other than in the dry. After several years with a variety of sportsbikes i'm starting to want to move on from them and have recently started getting interested in choppers, I think old age is kicking in early    :(

I used to ride my ZZR in the wet. I didn't have much choice it was that or walk! I learn't how to control wheel spin on dirtbikes. I used to spin my rear tyre all the time for the fun of it, in the dry it will let go too if you abuse it enough.

Just because you have the horses doesn't mean you go thrashing  around like an idiot. I am talking handling and I stand by what I said but maybe old age has crept up on me and I am getting stubbon. My mate's Harley handles well if you like straight lines.

My Duke is great wet or dry - obviously I prefer the dry though  ;)

riding in the wet is no big deal really. Just you guys have to deal with bloody ice. The big craze hitting Australia is Motarding.

Its kinda cool but the roads in west Astralia are too damn straight.

Still it looks fun...

Have a look for those who dont know.
