So, it's my birthday next month and i've been thinking of buying another amp. Not because i need one but because i'm a greedy git who's too obsessed with tone :D .
I've been looking at these amps so far
Mesa Mark IV
Cornford Carrera
Cornford MK50
Laney VH100
I'm basically looking for something really versatile, from Fender like clean tones to that crunchy blues rock Marshall tone right up to a really responsive and clear 'shredder' tone.
I've played a Cornford Carrera already and i loved it. I tested my PRS through the Carrera and the tone was unbelievable. I've also played with a Mark IV too and i've always loved the sound of them.
Never played through a VH100 though. Or a Cornford MK50.
From what i know, the Carrera is only 5 to 8 watts. Which would be great for playing at home. But i'm guessing not loud enough for band practices. Any one want to disagree?
Has any one had any experience with the Cornford MK50?
