quick googler search to catch up with these (not checked Maverick out in ages)

I think the G1 is Korina, but the G2 is mahogany with a AAA maple top.. so more ££

seems to be the difference.

Kinda cool looking though! :)

How exactly is that AAA? It has no figure whatsoever?
Agreed though, build wise it's better. Loved the smoke silver one. Shame about the wrapover bridge, a personal thing I know, but PRS has a lot to answer for. Still, all the more reason to fit a Kahler to it

Actually, they work really well after you've ajusted to them, which takes only a few minutes.

 I thought it was Nick too, when just reading down the page - then got to your post and looked back to see who it really was

I also find I have to look twice as to whether it's Tim or Feline posting as at a glance their avatars are similar

i love the look of the Maverick control knobs.... seems like they are positioned way better than normal ones... and the sideways imbedded-ness seems like they would be really easy to use...

you get the impression that they were actually DESIGNED with consideration for their use in mind.... it wasnt just a guy saying..

"oh shite where are we gonna put the controls?" kinda thing, and then slapping them down near the bridge somewhere....
