We do offer the BKP logo etched onto covers as a no cost option, unfortunately we can't do it onto open coils.

www.xe.com - Convert £190 using the current exchange rate...they won't set a price in USD 'cause exchange rates change and they could lose money

Woah, is that true?  So it would be subtract 17% then use the current exchange rate?  I hope that's how it works.

Yes prices include VAT at 17.5%- you don't get 17.5% off the whole price, the 17.5% is of the original cost and added to the two. If you are ordering from USA you can forget VAT- wish we could  but don't get me started.

Actually, what I should have said is that if the prices quorted include VAT, you can deduct it. I do beleive that the prices include it- best check first though.

The thing you have to remember when taking out VAT is that you can't find 17.5% of £190, and take that away because you'll get the wrong amount...

What you want is the number, which when you take 17.5% of it and add that to itself you end up with £190 - which you find by doing 190/1.175

So the actual amount you will pay in GBP is £161.70 = £298.94 at the current exchange :drink:

If you enter a US address onto the order form in the shop, the shop will automatically deduct UK VAT(17.5%), then use a currency converter to give you the price in US$............a rough guide is $300 for a covered etched set.Your credit card will  then get you the best exchange rate on the day you order.

Sorry to interrupt this wonderful discussion about mathematics and chemistry, but now that we've established you're smart is there any chance you verify/correct this?

So for an uncovered set assume roughly $270-ish?

 I'm really sorry - we often get distracted from the topic at hand...

Right, minus the VAT an uncovered set would cost £144.68 (except the Rebel Yell and Crawler which cost more) - So at the current exchange rate of about 1.84, you're looking at $267 for an uncovered set :drink:
