1000 members - some stats!
« on: July 07, 2006, 03:36:27 PM »
The BKP forum now has 1000 members! And we all love a few stats occasionally!

The forum has been live for roughly 15 months and in that time our forum members have posted in excess of 44295 posts across 3505 topics.
We are currently averaging nearly 100 posts a day and on average, 2 members are signing up each day.

At present, there are 818 attachments totalling just over half a gigabyte. (There have been more attachments but due to member housekeeping this growth has slowed.)

Since the forum was introduced last year our bandwidth requirement has gone from a mere 1GB per month to its present level at 50GB per month!

Would people downloading attachments be the main cause of the high need for bandwidth?

I've missed out on something here :?  Has Sambo vanished?

50gig! Blimey that's some increase from a year ago. Would that have been down to the Rebel Yell SS clip?

I am proud to be on the first page of members. As for Sambo, yes Johnny, he has, erm, gone but he does make occasional visits so it is not all bad. I miss his posts though ( thinks.... I wonder if he ever got that hat...). Word does seem to be spreading about the BK pups and I like to think that in my own little way, I have helped spread the word. Now did I ever mention 4 way switches for Teles?..dispappers, opens bottle of Merlot.

Ahh bless him! His probably revising or something. Hat? I think this might have been when I moved and was off line for 2 weeks.
The word is getting out there and it's cool. I was a week or two later ( I think) and made the second page. 4 way switches for Teles?? What's that all about?

Not done this in weeks (wrap one up) and some cold tinnys! Good night Mr 38th!  I'll probably be a salivating incoherent big kid in here sometime tomorrow when i get my 3 Feline Pimped guitars back! :D Got to decorate the lounge though, I mean what the hells wrong with yellow walls and navy curtains anyway!

Johnny, yellow walls, navy curtains- you can't buy class. I am looking forward to reading the posts when you get that plank home and "give it some". Halfway through the Merlot but my spelling has improved.

I'll do my best with clips and reviews. I've got new software but I struggle with learning new applications to be honest! My Cubase manual does say Patients, Practise and understanding! LMAO! It's become a little mantra and some of the results are cr@p but in a funny way.

This is lunacy! I've been awake since 4:00am feeling like I did about 32 years ago when my Dad bought me a second hand Scalectrix for Christmas!

As for the walls and curtains, man i would just leave them, but my mate Eddy who's a builder ( I used to be his labourer) would never get off my case! So I owe it to myself to try and have something normal  Ramble...zzz I'm tired!!!

Edit Sorry off topic and hijack, I've lost the plot!

Thanks Ol and Tim
