He plays DSL100, which is a little more punchy in the lower fat mids than the TSL which has a more numetalish eqing.
I would try to stay in the crunch channel and give a fair bit of bass and mids (especially he has more mids than other players) and take it easy on the presence pot. A cranked amp and an overdrive pedal will then be key to get his tone. But if you listen carefully you will realise that he creates a lot of dirt with the way he plays, so pay attention to detail and work on your fingers, not only the EQ :)
