I never knew fuzzes were so much fun
« on: July 14, 2006, 05:25:07 PM »
I was going through the different patches on my V-Amp 2 this afternoon out of boredom and thought I'd play around with the "fuzz box" patch. I never knew I could have so much fun with a fuzz, I always had the idea I'd hate em for some reason. Apart from sleazy rock riffs you can create some awesome old school game synth noises! I couldnt resist trying it out with some of the cheap sounding drums that I have in my drum sequencer, its really short but sometime I might extend it. Now I gotta find out how to make crazy non-tuneful noises like CaffeineJunkie was making in one of his clips!

The more demented the fuzz the better.

Hi there!!

I have to say I love fuzz, I have two main stompers for fuzz, plus other ways of getting it!

I have the Muff Pi and the old Classic Fuzz from DOD, but then theres also my Sherman Filterbank 2 that does some oldschool knarley fuzz sounds too!  :D
The more I learn the less I know!!

putting the fuzz factory into an acoustic simulator sounds really kool as well....although when recorded you can't really hear the guitar anymore
