-= Need Pickup Suggestions =-

Hey, I play in a melodic thrash metal band, but I really like the "shred" tone, that guys like Friedman, and Becker got , way back in the day. Anyway, I have an RG1570 with the IBZ v7 v8 and s1 pickups, floyd rose and what not, anyway, I was looking to get some new pickups, and this place kept comming up, so I thought why not check her out! And so here I am, any help suggestions and etc would be great

Thanks!
YAY YAY YAY YAY METAL!

well i use a 7 string warpig and i think that it would suit your playing style. the highs came out just as great as the lows and with the right amount of mids. Tight bass response, awesome harmonics and amazing clarity. So i would suggest the warpig.

Nailbombs work great in RGs!

Also Holy Diver and Miracle Man are up there, these three are the ones for lead tones. The Warpig is fun, too, especially for rhythm! I find the Miracle Man  or the Nailbomb better of lead work, but that's just me!

The neck Nailbomb can really sound great on sweep picking runs...great clarity!

Welcome to the forum.

Nailbombs do sound excellent it RGs as do Warpigs-either would sound great although the Warpig will have a lot more saturated gain.
