Well, some of their earlier stuff like maybe Lovehunter was quite good...But then Slip of the Tongue was a good album too, and (a bit of trivia) Adrian Vandenberg was injured at the time, so Steve Vai played all the guitars on that album :P

But to be honest, you can't go far wrong with the greatest hits - gives a good range of their whole lifespan really

They're albums I typed - but if you can find any songs from those albums you can get a bit of an idea what they're about...

I´ll Post ANother video.
i´m working on a full song of mine
Blackmetal style with death metal chops(not too much) and a thrashy riff in the middle/end.
i just don´t know how to program the drums
cause it is not that simple.. and i want a perfect drum pattern. ahahaha i never messed up with electronic drum machine programs before.
no leads on this song, unless i figure one out(probalby)

since no one wants to make a band with me up call me up to join an already exist band.. i´ll do my one man band.

i´ll do some little instruction video clips
here in my city, the main issue that i see on the guys technique is.. HOW to make/play rhythm stuff and how to palm mute
the guys right´s hand looks like a fags hand´s .. their hands doesn´t add Power, heavyness or stuff like that. they either have generic right hand playing or regular to BAD right hand picking technique..
but, in the other hand(literally ahahahahha) they are good at lead stuff.
but.. i really don´t see whats the point there.
the guys claim that they are pretty eclectic, but it´s just start to speak about metal and they think it´s bullshitee and a lot of noise.
i get pretty mad with this guys.. i don´t know why i didn´t smashed one of those guys face yet.
they don´t follow what they say
"if you want to play music, be a teacher and etc.. you have to learn all music styles and be eclectic, never be a musical racist"
but when it comes to metal, they are the most racism
and i say "$%&# you poser" do this RIFF, if you are a real MAN.
if not, don´t bother me saying that metal is for "manson´s"

Your picking is amazing! :twisted: That must of taken a lot of practise. The fastest I've heard in my tastes was Scott Ian playing on (I think its called) Skeleton's In The closet' There was a point in the tune where your palm muting the bottom E a bit like he does. Mega fast and it's like a bouncing sort of sound. Very cool!

:idea: If you do record the riff your working on. Do it to a click and then get someone to lay drums to it at what ever BPM the click is set to. :idea:

Metal is always going to be against the 'normal' but that's what makes it so good! There's always snobbery or a fear of what people can't understand involved with things that lean towards the extreme but don't let it get to you. Just laugh and play harder! F*** the knockers!

SUPER tight riffing there, agree with the guy who talked about rhythm players... and the guy about how good these unheard of bands sound...
