I kinda 'tweaked' my fretting hand playing guitar.. aswell as the picking one.

then, i tripped on the stairs and BLAM landed on it

Now my fingers tingle like pins and needles\dead arm, and i have a dull cramp like feeling all the way up to my shoulder and its kinda 'hmm' to grip things

picking hand, just my wrist aches a hell of alot, again feels 'cramped'

Dr for me asap next week...

pissed off and hurting.. got a new amp\guitar\keyboard and 2 weeks off work soon...

plus i cant do \m/ anymore

post you horror stories to make me feel even worse ;)

ps i 1 finger typed this in about 10mins lol

You one finger typed that in 10 minutes? I have a good game for you to build up your dexterity in your hands again - Finger Frenzy

I know someone with quick fingers (a pianist) who can do it in 1.54 seconds (and yes, I did see him do it :lol: )

Horror stories, eh? Hmm. I've snapped the tendon in one pinky, sliced through the tendon in the other, and was poisoned badly enough to make me very sick for half my life. There've been some other things as well.

EDIT: I played the piano pooch game from Off The Wrist and got Mozart on the first run through. More fun than the alphabet game! :)

Last week I had a small glass splinter stuck in my index finger. It hurt like hell sliding over the fretboard and even more when doing those rockabilly slurs.

My uncle is a semi-pro musician. He once (accidentally!!) injected his right hand with Ivomec (a flukeworm treatment for cattle) and lost all feeling in the hand for six months...

He played Guitar, fiddle, bass and banjo in a band at the time.

Sorry to hear about your injury Chris. It just sucks when shitee like this happens. It always happens when you get some new gear too! It must be the excitement causing lack of judgement or something!
