Nailbomb +1

I have one in my Legra guitar, i love thrash and black metal type stuff (amongst other things) and it works great for riffing and 'blast picking' black metal stuff 8)

Clean aint bad either, its a great all round metal pickup

Clean isnŽt an issue. We donŽt do that. I donŽt hurt if it can handle cleans but.. as for now I donŽt need that.
I guess I gonna try out the Nailbomd or wait until the new pickups/pickups is/are out.

Painkiller might be good by the sounds of it, but i still think Nailbomb would handle it better!

Talk to Tim before pulling the trigger. He'll give you some good food for thought and some very interesting suggestions that may help more than the specualtions of us forumites.

I did when I ordered my first Bare Knuckle. I ended up with the Miracle Man. Tim can custom make pick ups? So if I order a Nailbomb he can "fix it" so IŽll like it even more? Thing is... IŽm not really sure what I want. DonŽt know how the guitar will sound and I have no idea how Bare Knuckle Pickups sound like. Never used one before. All I know is that I wanna try something else than my EMGs. Nothing wrong, but I think I can improve my sound with more "natural sounding" pops, if You know what I mean? EMGs are pretty sterile.

Right, in my opinion you'll be happy with the Nailbomb. From what I've heard, it doesn't really matter hugely which pickup you get. Now, obviously it does, but I think the sentiment is that they're all so versatle they can cope with almost anything.

The Nailbomb by its very sentiment is aimed at what you want to play, and lets face it, how cool would it be to be able to say to your mates "well I'm more metal than you, my pickups are called Nailbombs!" :P

hahaha!
YouŽve got a point there...
Consider that I will have a guitar with Miracle Man, maybe I should try out the Nailbomb.

Anyone knows when the new pickup gonna be released? Is it more than just the Painkiller? I thought it was 2 new pickups?
I guess I gonna try out the Nailbomb, maybe a bit modified. I gonna play the guitar first and try to hear what would be the best. Than talk to Tim about modify it if necassary. WeŽll see... Hope IŽll get the guitar soon.

I think the Nailbomb would be great for you Turbo. I love my Nailbombs...I actually like them more than my Miracle Man...though i highly recommend the Cold Sweat. The Nailbomb is literally THE BOMB. So melodic...very organic, not overwarm, great for all sorts of music. I play a lot of jazz and progressive styled metal and fusion and I think that's really where they shine...Honestly, they are a prog player's dream. So well suited for chops intensive stuff! It also kills for the heaviness. So, GO OUT AND GET 'EM. The great thing about them is that they really work nicely with your amp and allow its strong suits to shine. They sound good with all sorts of EQ configs. If you lighten up the bass with them A LITTLE (in my opinion), they sound the best. Hope you go for em!

Ok, sounds cool. I gonna go for the Nailbomb so in the end IŽll have one guitar with the Miracle Man and one with Nailbomb. That should do the trick!
