Well done, supposedly one of the most stressful things in life apart from divorce. I hope you have a super chilled time from now.

BTW, do you have music room? 8)

Thanks mate.  We have a month to finish packing and arrange everything else, so hopefully it won't be too frantic.  :)

I have claimed a (15'10" x 10'10") room for music and toys (my toys, not my little boys).  I lost my original music room when it became a nursery, so it will be great to be able to spread out again.  :)

Awesome :)
I've always dreamed of a house with a room for HiFi (my other huge love) and an annexe or garage for  amps and guitars, think Nigel Tufnell or Dweezil Zappa 8)

Yeah.  My amp and speaker cab has been stored in the garage for over a year now, only seeing the light of day at rehearsals.

I think I'm going to get some guitar hangers and have the axes up on the wall in my new room for easy access.  :)

Well done mate. I am just finishing up myself. I HATE SELLING AND BUYING HOUSES.
I wont have a music room in the house but I am going to be building a studio in the back garden for Computer, guitars and weight bench!!!
This is going to be the best move of my life.
We complete on the 1st of Sept but we leave our current property on the 31st of this month so I will be quiet for a month or so
But I will look forward to getting back online and expressing my opinions early Sept.

Nice one! I've got a vague memory of going there on my bike years ago, it's a nice place to live. So when you pull the amp and guitars out of the van, is it going to be a covert operation?!!   (So as not to freak the neighbours out!) I waited until dusk when i moved my gear in here lol!

Are you going to get it soundproofed so you can turn the bleeder up and only deafen yourself?
