All my guitars are custom made by different luthiers and I´m used to play with EMG 81/81. But my next guitar (it´s being built right now) will have a Miracle Man in the bridge and a Sustainiac i the neck. I might change EMGs to some Nailbombs in one of my guitars. We´ll see...

i love EMGS, i may getting a BKP combo too, Nailbomb or Painkiller Bridge(i´ll wait until the new pickup get´s unleashed) and a Trilogy SUite Neck. thats for sure.

I´ve never played or tried EMG 60 or 60A. I thought those were for clean tones? I don´t do cleans.  :twisted:
I did what Jeff Hanneman does; EMG 81/81. Works for him, works for me.  8)
When will the new pops be unleashed? Anyone knows anything about them? Better for hard metal?
As for now I´ll use my EMGS for a while. Than, when I´m rich, I´ll change to Nailbomb, I guess. Thought I try them out consider that my next will have Miracle Man.

We gonna record our sixth album within 2 weeks and it´s gonna be way more thrash metal inspired. More like old Slayer, speed and aggression.

Here's one from when I was in the studio (comtemplating an array of stompboxes :)) in Boston sometime in late '94 or early '95:

I can't remember if the shot was taken during sessions with my first band or for demos for a solo project (the sessions kinda blurred together). Anyway, just visible is my same omnipresent LP Std as appears in the '99 festival photo I posted and in which I have the Crawlers now.

(Speaking of which, I sketched out a new demo using the Crawlers the other week; it's not very polished, but it's been a while since I stuck something in the Players section, so perhaps I'll try to post it up there .... :)).

I like modern death metal too, Dying Fetus, Broken Hope, Deeds of Flesh and so on. But my true passion is Slayer and those kinda thrash bands.
Deice and Morbid Angel are really good death metal bands. Too bad the Hoffman brothers left.

Yah, well i basically learnt how to play guitar by tweaking the tuning several times in the week with an old giannini guitar that i had from a friend.. he traded 30 bucks and 4 doom/black cds for the guitar, and lent me the guitar for a timeless period.
i learnt by basically hearing the sounds and searching for it on the guiotar..
Deicide, morbid angel, samael, obituary, Ophthalamia, Dismember,Gates of Ishtar, Slayer, Destruction, Kreator, Pantera, Sodom, Sarcófago.(do you know this one?)
those bands, basically.
