I like Whirlwind's The Leader, I haven't tried many others but that cable seems to give more oomph without changing my tone. I'd like to try George L's but whats the difference between the 155 and 225? The wire gauge presumably.

i have been using a planet wave cable for about a year, and really have never noticed a differnce in cables... UNTIL i purchased a monster cord last week! It was damn expensive, but when I plugged it in, I couldnt believe the differnce I heard in the clarity! I never knew a cable could do so much! I will now save money just so i can purchase monster cables

I used to have a whirlwind cable which was great but got stolen. Since then I have used a 'Monster' Jazz cable ( I can hear the difference for that application). Also for the last  6 years I have had some Planet Waves cables that have served me well . The 'spring out' collars have also silenced a couple of crackling jack sockets on my older gutars. I like the tonal intergrity too. Apparently Robben Ford uses them.

Unfortunately I am no Robben Ford

Regards to all,

Derek.

P.S. The post above this one has got me intrigued about aquiring a 'Monster' Rock cable as well as my 'Jazz' one.
