Seriously, though ---

My Rivera 4x12 weighs just over 100 lbs now. Would an extra 40 lbs really make a difference at this point?!! If the tone is worth it, I'm gonna do it.

I think I'll get 2 at first, throw em in my Marshall 2x12. If the tone is that good, I wanna get 2 more, throw em in the Rivera, and then get some hemp jobbies for my Marshall, or those Heritage thingies everyone is raving about.

I've just got a couple of Heritage G12H...they sound great, very late 60s. The standard G12H sounds a bit boxy by comparison.

£275 list in the UK

for one speaker?

EDIT: ben- if you're going for a 4x12 for them, you may want to budget for a forklift truck too...

I want 4 of those in a closed cab with a couple of bass tubes. Hook it up to a big Engl amp and plug in my Warpig equipped guitar and play Suicide Messiah once again.

I had a Rivera 2x12 with them in and there was no way it could be moved by one person alone, and it was tough with two people

A 4 x12- think I'll pass on that

I think Jake E Lee used to use them too

that the cab you had at the LGS?

Being a US Resident and a UK Citizen am in pretty unique situation. But can tell ya 250 Dollars is still ALOT when taken in context.
I gotta wonder, although EVH have good rep. anyway, how much Signature Marketing is going on here again?

On a side note (and being in UK right now for first time for any length in years) Gibson's do not seem as costly here (compared with US) as was expecting/advised. Maybe indeed the price diff. barrier is getting less. Although with pound-dollar exchange right now gotta say buying US goods for Brits is almost like stealing them.
