Again Congratulations!

A friend told me how much you can earn if you get a "Hazchem" ( hazardous chemicals) transport license... Man you'd be livin' large!

I'd be tempted.

And the 3rd testicle may come in handy! ;)

Congrats JP! It's a a challenge passing that one isn't it! So are you going for the 4 trailer road trains?

I have a truck licence too and agree with Ben that the third bollock does attract a lot of attention from women, whatever the condition of the truck (mines looks like its done two tours of Iraq)

And it's also useful for other things but it would be UN-professional of me to to encourage you!

When you back it in your first tight spot on a main road, just don't think about it and just do it, use imaginary blinkers (like a horse!) and watch the top in the mirrors as well as the bottom!

Good luck and have fun!!

Thanks Johnny Mac. Yeah I'm going to move onto that License.

I'm pretty sure its the same for you guys but over here we run a 3 stage license system.

First you go for whats known as the "heavy rigid" such as one of these..

Then you move onto one trailer known as the "heavy combination".
For some reason there is a loopwhole where you can skip this stage. Then onto multiple trailers known as "Road trains"

For anyone who's never seen a Road Train its pretty impressive when it passes you.

Its one of these...

I can drive the prime mover at the start of the train but only when no trailers are attached (at present)

  Pretty much. The tops of mirrors are useful for making sure you don't take out Eve's and Guttering ect. Don't Ask! A minor mishap here and there is a natural learning curve.

Still, it doesn't beat the 2 public phone boxes i took out by Paddington Station! There was no-one in them, so it's funny!

Jp

That top one looks like our 7.5 tonne type which is now on a class 3. I'm on a class 2 so I can drive 8 wheel rigid tippers ect at around 35 tonnes

That other one is just showing off!

Seriously though, when I was in Australia, I did see a lot of them and had a chat with some of the Grizzlys that drive them and I thought if I lived here I would do that!

It's good driving lorrys for a living. You can listen to all your favorite tunes all day and do cool stuff and that!  :D
