Burnin' Love by Lee Rocker is a contender. Brought Back To Life by the Nekromantix is alotta fun.

I'm waiting for Brian Setzer's 13 to come out.

Wolfmother's debut is exactly the style we need coming back into kid's mp3 players - the best parts of Sabbath updated, with a little bit of the White Stripes thrown into a couple of songs. It's dirt cheap at the moment too, so get it in!
Hoble Guitars. Mule + MM so far.

So far it's a toss up between: Dragonforce "inhuman Rampage", Bonkers 16 and Seth Lakeman's "Kitty Jay"  :)

I dunno really, I'd never thought about it quite like that. I'd just assumed he was having a bit of a munch but, y'know, could go either way really!

Looks like a bit of motor-boat action!

I'll have to second the Wolfmother album!

I've only really heard a couple of bits of wolfmother on the radio and read a bit about them, I can't really see what all the fuss is about. I'm really not feeling the whole retro thing that appears to be popular at the mo. Their guitarist has hair just like my mate pete tho, which is quite funny!

The band - music from big pink

Killing joke's 2003 self titled album (not to be confused with the 1980 self titled album) was also obscenely good, but I don't think downloading it off bittorrent really counts as buying it...

I only liked a few songs off it actually, I thought alot of them were a bit boring. I havent actually bought any albums this year so far.

I just bought an album by Terra Naomi, a chick with an acoustic guitar.  All you metalheads would hate it.  :P

You know that! One of my favourite bands of all time. I've currently got my mums copy of their "best of" box set on semi-permanent "loan", she'll have to fight me to get it back!   Also, i've got The Last Waltz on DVD, if you listen to the audio commentary by them, ronnie hawkins and Dr. John it's absolutely hillarious!
