obviously i need some feedback from you guys that are in europe..

what paint do you use to paint the guitars you build?

is it available in stores (i'm not talking about rattlecans) or is it a special mix?

i know some use a two compound mix, which is comprised of the color and hardener, so the whole thing hardens rather quicky

i'm in no rush at the moment, but i'd like to be as educated about this as possible before i start painting something

I'm not an expert but I used Halfords car paints and got a pretty nice finish, but if its a good guitar I'd use some good stuff from somewhere I guess. Manchester Guitar Tech have nitro I think, expensive though.

My local art shop bizarrely has suitable acrylic laquer and stains and solid mixes.
