I was touring Germany with my band when my results came out.  I was so excited to be going that I never really studied for them!  I was more interested in making sure we had enough songs down to play 5x45 minute sets.

I ended up with 2 and then to add insult to injury, the band split up - we were just not cut out to be together.  The singer/guitarist and drummer were big Beatles fans and the bass player and me loved the Stones.

It was a great summer though.

Didnt even get the IT exam results back, but my coursework was B and C so should be a pass anyway :D

I got A in Business, A in History, B in maths and B in Politcs.

I'm pleased with the politics grade since I only turned up to about 8 lessons this year, but disappointed with the maths - I missed out on the A by 4 marks. On the bright side, these results easily got me into Uni, so I guess I'll be in Nottingham next month!

you can check if they took your resit into account by looking at the date next to the result of that part of your mark

i.e in Computing, it says on my sheet...

June 06 CPT2 Principles of ... etc. (105)       95  A

and has them for each unit, so if they didn't take your resit into account, it would start with

Jan 06 .....etc.

hope that helps[/b]

Jonesy - The only reason I can think of that they wouldn't take your resit into account is if you did worse than the first time round...(sorry)

As suspected my son's results were awful- a result of a bright kid thinking he doesn't have to work as he will wing it on the day so now he has a choice of going back to school for another year or he said he would like to join the army. I have told him the latter is not good-until Tony Blair puts his boys in the army he sure as hell aint having mine.
