I failed at the recording
« on: August 10, 2006, 06:53:15 PM »
Up until yesterday I was carrying my 60+ pound amp up and down my two flights of stairs into my room to record. Then, ran a line from the amps line out to the computer to record, thus getting no cab.

I never realised that my Boss GT-6 can be used to record, AND it has a god damn cab simulator. Even though my real amp is tube, the GT-6 sounds better after recording because of the cab.

God damn I could have saved my back. D:

Now for some purpose: I was surprised how good the  GT-6 sounded. The preamps sound like absolute shite through my amp but when I plugged them into the computer it sounded great! I think I'm using a pre amp simulator called a SLDN or something, I think that's from Solando (sp?). It sounds like a really hot Marshall, kinda like the Engl Powerballs.

I could post the clips but I'm not using BKPs...I'm using *gasp* EMG's.
