The big dilemma would be whether to keep it really plain or go for something a little more exotic (but not a full-on quilt top or anything like that).

I'll do it one day....

Want suggestions?

Yes, I'm easy... But some things that are "normal" or "standard" to me will be exotic to you...
But I'm telling about the stuff, etc... I know you won't get a 5A Flamed Koa or a Spalted Maple top on a guitar

You're right, I never would!  I like the look of those woods... but not for me.

A bit of a thread resurrection but on a similar vein and didn't want to start a new thread as the guitar in question doesn't have BKPs (boo!)
Anyway just finished another guitar with all the Graphtech Ghost piezo and MIDI gubbins in it
Was a flat fronted Lion with a 25.5" scale and a bolt on neck !!
The Quilted front is just a veneer over a Korina body

Very nice but the headstock just looks incomplete without some writing on there.. then it would be finished  :? :)

I've had a few hours playing the new Feline Lion.  :D It's amazing, it feels so comfortable to play, solid and it just oozes quality. The sounds are gorgeous and rich, full of harmonics. Clean it sounds brilliant too. The piezo pickups do a great job of acoustic sounds, which you can blend with the Rebel Yells.
The flame top is almost like a hologram. When the light falls on it from different angles it seems to move and its a beautiful finish, but not PRS OTT just the right balance. I love it!!  :D :D :D

I've not got a Midi processor at the moment but will get the Axon MkII once I've raised the cash.
Then i could do some kind of demo if anyone's interested.

All in all its an incredible guitar and the quality of Jonathon's work is first class.

Awesome!

Its a looker too, and I dont normally like les pauls or maple tops!
