So, that's me and Jonathan then.  ;)

Anyway, Welsh glamsters Tigertailz have a new album out!  :D

It's called Bezerk 2.0

It also rocks, so go buy it.  :)

When I was growing up my mum's friends son (who was 2 years older than me) played guitar, I wanted to play guitar too so I went over to his place, played guitar and listened to eat 'Em And Smile and Randy era Ozzy. A few years later his band played a small gig and I was the guitar tech. After that his band won a battle of the bands competition judged by Carol Decker of T'Pau. They split up and he then replaced Jay Pepper in Tigertailz. He recorded (or re-recorded if you read the stories) the album 'Wazbones' and they also did a tour and live album. He decided he hated touring and became a CAD artist instead. Anyway, I think his playing was so much better than Jay Pepper (who's now back in the band) but maybe the chemistry wasn't there.

Yeah I remember Si well
He was a good player but the band chemistry wasn't the same anymore

I also preferred the original line up when they had Stevie Jaimz in the band as singer . He wasn't a great singer but he was like Dave Lee Roth on speed and fun to watch. He recently resurrected a version of the band with drummer Ace Finchum  and toured but Jay and Pepsi wouldnt join in and then decided to re-do it with Kim Hooker on Vocals and sue to stop Stevie using the name

Must go now - I need to get some new eye-liner

I have photos of myself from the 1980s that could scare/confuse anyone under the age of 30

Don't worry they are all under lock and key (Hey that's a Dokken album title)

I've been waiting for Tigertailz to get moving on this for ages. The original release date was months ago but they have a poor distributor.

BTW - I was at the Bezerk Live concert video filmed back in the day, I've still got a copy on VHS.

The tigertailz site has one of the Clint " tiger" T-shirts with the best slogan ever - I'm the only glam in the village"

I want one!!

Did you all get your re-mastered versions of Bezerk and Banzai?!

yep, got my remasters and a couple of the t-shirts.  i've had the new album on pre-order from demolition, their record company, for some time, but there's no sign of it and no response from them.  i may end up having to buy it somewhere else.  although, from the couple of tracks i've heard it doesn't seem as good as i'd hoped.

I had a signed t-shirt from an signing at Roxcene records in Newport back in the day. I wonder if my mum has thrown it out yet.
