He's probably not playing these parts but I'd love to see him. He's not as much a showman as Vai but he's a killer player. His 7 string sweep tapped arpeggios are so smooth ts unbelievable and I love his fusion playing with CAB too.

if Tony McApline is the 'other' guitarist in that clip then Vai rips him a new arsehole. Vai is in a TOTALLY different league.

I think Vai will own just about anyone, Tony is a different type of player, plus he is a superb keyboardist :D

I never said he was better than Vai (who's still my #1 rock guitar hero), just that he's a good player, and he is.
When it comes to piano though MacAlpine seriously micturates on Vai :twisted:
