I must be the luckiest dude. I went to a final farewell DVD recording show for the band VOD. If you are unfamiliar with VOD, they are from Long Island, NY and blend hardcore and thrash metal. They were one of my favorite bands from the early 90's and their shows are known for extreme chaos in the pits. Since I'm getting old (29), I thought I would stay in the back of the small venue and enjoy the music. Once they started, the music just took a hold of me and I went all out. I lost my cell phone, hat, gold chain, wedding ring and watch. Since I went straight from work my brand new white shirt is basically red now from some dudes blood. I was on stage a couple times and did a couple dives. It was really fun. Took me back when I was a teenager and all you had to worry about was nothing...
Amazingly, after the show, I actually found everything I lost. The funniest was my watch ended up behind the drum set...lol..
Now I know, to leave everything @ home even if I say to myself I will be just relaxing in the back. This is the 2nd time I lose my wedding ring at a show and found it. 1st time was at a Life of Agony show...lol
Canderia and God Forbid also played with VOD. It was definitely a night to remember. I better be on that damn dvd.....lol
