this is the WINNER right here.. Mr Shred himself...

I can't decide which is funnier :

1 : At the start when he does his elvis on the toilet impersonation (just before his terminal decline)

2: The over dubbed 'music'

3 : the comment from GuitarMan91 "you should have left the original guitar audio in the video so it doesnt sound like cr@p."

Rob...

Where do you find this funny ass Sh*t?

I've been ill recently so just by loads of YouTube searches, it pops up with random vids.

Also just by keeping an eye out on forums ;)

The Yngwie one is funny aswell (Super God Lesson).

Theres a few John Pretrucci ones around aswell, the best is where he plays in 92/64th hyper speed time and peoples heads explode

Oh aye there are some good chaps at this link:

http://www.sonicbids.com/whosplaying/event_view.asp?event_id=459

They are all in the Guitar Player "Guitar Hero" competition , there is one fella called Segei Roudzinski, who is pretty awesome.

some that i have just remembered; claudio sanchez and bb king. bb may not be the quickest guitarist in the world but he manages to pay the right note just about every time, in my mind anyway.

How about non-guitarist influences?

I wish I could make my guitar do an impersonation of alicia keyes' vocals.

:D Hey March was it you who posted me about wide interval players ? If so matey who was it you suggested ?

As for Black Metal & Death Metal Players !!!!   Don`t get me started....

JT,

Sorry for the delayed response... but I honestly cannot recall, however I do like intervalic players!

Other than the obvious Eric Johnson recommendations, Shawn Lane 'Powers of Ten' contains loads of wide interval examples. Another very tasty yet underrated player from my initial post is Carl Verheyen who style wise sits between Eric Johnson and Robben Ford. Atlas Overload is recommended is you want to check his work out.

Another player to add to the list...

Michael Landau - Tales From The Bulge is a fantastic album. Jeff Beck meets Steve Lukather.
VHII's, Nailbomb's & Irish Tours :-)
