Film Reccomendations?
« on: August 25, 2006, 08:52:55 AM »
Anybody know of any films that are out at the moment? I'm not picky about genre's or anything but need to rectify the fact that the last two new films that I have seen were Garfield 2 and Cars (Only because I took my son, you understand   ), both were pretty good tho!

Snakes on a Plane

HAHA I hate that film title, its so rubbish and uninspiring. I thought A Scanner Darkly looked pretty good, partly because the animation/cartoon aspect of it is just cool. I reckon The Sentinel looks quite good as well.

Snakes on a Plane, or SoaP, is awesome. I laughed almost all the way through it - so long as you realise it's not meant to be a serious action film (I hope!) then it's a good bet.

A Scanner Darkly looks awesome but since it's only showing at a handful of cinemas across the UK you might not be able to get to see it like me

DONT go and see the new Jack Black film. Although I haven't seen it myself my bro saw it and said it was shite. Not that I expected it to be good anyway.

Nacho Libre?  If that's the one I wouldn't be surprised; it has the same director Napoleon Dynamite had.  And, man, wasn't that an over-rated piece of cr@p?

I haven't seen anything I've really liked at the movies this year, though I've seen some cool DVDs.

Don't knock Snakes on a Plane till you've seen it.

I must have been the most sceptical guy in the cinema when I saw the trailer before Pirates of the Caribbean but then I went to see it last week out of curiosity and man did I have FUN!

"I'm tired of all these motherf**kin' snakes on this motherf**ckin' plane!"

It's simple genius!!! You can't help but have fun.

Snakes on a mother$%&#in' plane! LOL!

Gotta love good ol Sam L Jackson!

Severance looks pretty funny from the ads, made by the same people who made Shaun Of The Dead or something like that!
