It sounds phenomenal, not just for the money, but as a guitar in its own right. It is all-mahogany apart from the rosewood fretboard, and resonates deliciously. Obviously it needs a distressed Mule/MQ set in it, and you have yourself a FANTASTIC guitar.
Got to reccommend it to anyone who's strapped for cash (all you fellow students), and has an undying urge to buy a semi-hollow guitar (all you fellow rawkers) :D
LOVING the Mules!

Yo Indy, what was the neck like on this baby?

I've been digging these kind of guitars lately. I think I read a review of this guitar in Guitarist a while back, it was very positive but it's hard to know when they give a guitar, say, 5 stars is that 5 stars in it's price range or 5 stars as a guitar - if you know what I mean? I like the idea of this guitar getting really battered, change the electronics and it would be dandy. I'm really surprised that a guitar this cheap has the Buzz Feiten system too.

Any more in-depth opinions Indy? Nowhere round here sells them so I'd have to get on a train to Birmingham if I wanted a closer inspection.

I had a go on one acoustically some months ago and it was very well put together and played nicely. I did not get to plug it in though but the thought crossed my mind of possibly getting one and getting it BK'd- a nice set of Stormy Mondays for me.
