St. Anger wasn't the worst. Remember Load and Reload?

St, Anger is the worst album in the history of metal. Load and Reload are alright albums, And Justice is one of the best imo, the most underated album in the history of metal!

load and reload are pretty cool albums. at least he was singing there.

and the tunes are produced and the arrangements are pretty ok.

it's not a metallica kickass album, but they are solid rock albums

Yeah, i have been listening to Hero Of The Day, Outlaw Torn, Fuel, The Memory Remains and King Nothing a lot recently.

The S & M version of Hero Of The Day is awesome.

only song where the symphony actualy fits imo.

with the others they could have left it out cos it adds nothing to it. and on master it flat out doesnt even fit the song in terms of arrangements

Maybe you don't really want to play it, or have got bored with it? Might sound stupid but I remember me and my mates playing some rock stuff all day and we were bored with it. At one point the drummer just went into this reggae type beat, next thing you know we were all enjoying ourselves and playing a lot better. I saw this tip in Guitar Player mag which says the same thing but far more eloquently:

Do i suck at guitar? Or are the tracks on this album hard to learn!

I tried to learn Blackened but then i got bored with it in a few minutes

Also i though One would be the easiest track, i did alright until i got bored of that too.

And Justice was alright.

Thats all i half learned because there are some very tricky riffs in there and it is pissing me off haha!

Someone say they had trouble with some of these tracks so it doesn't make me feel as if i suck!

Not at all! You don't 'suck' at guitar. You just haven't given each track the time and effort it takes to learn it.

The timing of the blackened riff is pretty damn hard if you haven't played anything like it before. Persevere. You shouldn't be getting bored. Surely the challenge is the fun part of it and once it 'clicks', you begin to understand more technical riffs and consequently learning equally difficult riffs is less of a learning curve.

I got bored of trying to learn that album, i'm now more into creating my own stuff, good some really good riffs, hopefully the band will like them and we can create some metal madnessss!

Bored of learning?!!!?!

What DO they teach at schools these days.  :D

Good for you. I've always been more into writing my own stuff rather than learning other peoples stuff, although I still think its important to learn from other bands/artists to develop your own writing skills; Once you really break down a riff and REALLY get to grips with it, you understand how it was written and thus your own writing gets better as a result.

I also believe in being stubborn and finishing what you set out to do. So don't 'give up' on learning something. Figure out where you are going wrong and figure out how to put it right!

Or I'll set this little fella on yer...

 :)
