Not as far as I know. Why would you want a shorter scale (unless it's for an 8 year old)?

Very few guitar have a shorter scale length than a Gibson SG (24.75")

A Fender Mustang, Jagstang or a Jaguar or a Burns Brian may all do (24")

Gibson made some "three-quarter-size" LP Juniors, LP Specials and Melody Makers from the late 50s to mid 60s.  I think the scale length was 22.75", but can't find anything to confirm it!

Nothing available nowadays, though.

A bit of info on 3/4 scale Les Pauls here: http://www.provide.net/~cfh/lpjr.html
Appears some of these 3/4 scale guitars were made of maple instead of mahogany.
Also some general info on scale lengths here: http://www.12fret.com/fret/fv4n7.htm

Looks like you found all the same sites I did!  :)

But none of them actually say what the scale length is!  You'd have thought with all the resources of the internet it would be easy to find.  It's almost as if no-one's ever bothered to measure one.

Strangely, I'm looking for the Exact opposite. An SG with at least a 25 inch scale, for a wee bit more "thump".

Like this one - it's already got WARPIGS in...

25" scale length - better for tuning down as well

Oops - sorry that was a bit shameless of me...
HTB and I hadnt discussed money though......

Back to the question......shorter scale guitars
What a lot of companies do is start the fingerboard at the first fret and you get the shorter scale.

So a Jaguar would be like a Jazzmaster but the fingerboard ends at the first fret.

If you want to see what the effect would be like try the following:
1 Tune your guitar to E flat
2 Put a capo on at the first fret
3 Play as before but one fret up and the effect is similar to the shorter scale version

Feline, as beautiful as your instruments are, they're a wee bit beyond my means at present. I could be in touch if I get enough (2 grand or so) for the Tele Deluxe though....

(How about a set-neck tele with 3 pig 90's and "Brian May" type switching? Or is that completley mental?)
