Yeah I heard the clips into the VJ, would be nice to hear some done with a decent mic though instead of your laptop mic so we can hear its full sound :P If I like what I hear I'm definately getting one!

Maybe a wee bit distorted... it's about how my RY neck with my les paul sounds with my vox ac30... I like it ;)

Good tone man, the bridge has that Vintage VH vibe and the swith when you go to the neck pickup is amazing, it has clarity yet its pretty dirty.

More Clips, done at virtually no volume with my new VHT 50ST/EL84.
It's harder to have the VHT sound OK without higher Volume, as this amp really needs a bit push on the power tubes (each amp does, but the Shiva is a bit easier to make sound big when it's at whisper/night levels).

But experimenting some positions and settings and you get quite good results. I have the strong feeling that the VHT might cut it better in the band.

The Axis has new strings too. There is a TRex RoomMate in the loop of the VHT.

What I find remarkeable is the lead sound I get in the middle position of the RebelYell set. This is on the last part of the distorted file around 1:10. I NEVER played lead in the middle position before on any pickup/guitar.

Love the demos (esp the distorted), your gilmour influences often comes to the fore in the distorted clips (it's meant as a complement BTW)

The other thing is theres often a strat like quality that I would normally associate with single coils when I hear your RY stuff, which I like a lot (a proper topend but with nicer mids).

Lovely stuff Hunter-I love clean tones and the second clip was my favourite.
