Hey Guys,
I stumbled across this video clip from the last Billy Idol show of our tour. I am playing the white L.P. loaded with Rebel Yells. Even recorded on a lousy video phone....these pickups RULE! Thanks again Tim.

There are some pics of that LP on the forum somewhere, it's a damn nice looking guitar. The audio is a little rough   but the pups come across well. I'll have to consider those for my yamaha sg.

Oh yeah, Eyes without a face - this riff rules !!!

Especially I like that the amps on stage are so loud  that the phone hardly picks up anything else while you're playing the main riff and solo.

Nice groove  8)

I will, God willing, be installing my Rebel Yell in my LP next week.  Looking forward to it!

They come across really well - you can hear how they work for the cleaner tones and the power chords.  I have them in an older PRS Standard and they work great in there too - very Fenderish on the split coil tones.
So many pickups, so little time

Yeah I can tell it was recorded on a video phone...  can't hear Billy because his voice is pure distortion, but the guitar sounds good!

Great tone!  How come my Les Paul with Rebel Yells doesn't sound that good?!?!?!?
Real men turn their volume to 11!

Rebel Yells + Les Paul = the Ultimate Rock Pickup.

Awesome clips Steve! Thanks for posting!

Anyone else notice that they're buying pickups and then finding guitars to purchase to fit them into? I'm already looking at another Les Paul for a set of Rebel Yells.

No, I already have far too many guitars.  If I change the pickups in all of them it'll cost me a fortune!

But I know what you mean - I start thinking about buying guitars I wouldn't normally touch with a 10 ft pole (like Ibanez/ESP Floydy things) just so I could put a set of burnt chrome Nailbombs in them.

Sounded impressive even given the restrictions of the recording.
