I thought the first one was better - superior technique.  the second guy's vibrato was going sharp all the time and sounded a bit wonky.  They can still both shred their arses off though.

I am sure I saw a guy do this a while ago, slmost the same phrasing, he looked like an Italian American, he looked like he was doing it in his basement.
