Nailbomb vs Irish Tour test
« on: September 14, 2006, 01:48:09 AM »
Here's a clip I recorded in response to fps_dean's query regarding the volume difference between a bridge Nailbomb and neck Irish Tour...
http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5274

The clip is rhythm with drums, bridge then neck at 19 seconds;
same again without drums and then a single note lick.
I see a rainbow rising
Look there on the horizon
And I'm coming home

Okay they do balance really well.  If I go Nailbombs which I probably will, I will probably go with the Irish Tours.

Thanks a ton for the clip ;)
Real men turn their volume to 11!

i've got

VHII, IT, IT setup.. and i must say they balance fine, although it's more a case of taming the IT's down by lowering them.. than raising the VHII to meet them.

I think the NB would fit really well with IT's..

I'm mainly interested in the Trilogy Suite because of withoutwarning's clips, those things sound amazing!  But the Irish Tours sound good and seem to balance good too.
