From what i have heard (from songs + people who have them) the X2N is the best metal pickup DiMarzio have and it is better than Seymour Duncan's metal pickup attempt, i havn't heard a bad word about them.

On that note, I'd say the X2N is closest to the miracle man, but its more like an early-teenage miracle man in kappa trackies and high on crack. Its got much more gain and can have a bit too much of a hard edge ot the tone thats difficult to control.

haha, awesome.

well, the duncan high gain metal pickups are complete cr@p (in my opinion), so it's not really much of an achievement if the X2N is better... (i haven't tried the x2n)

Ahh, but have the words you've heard about them come from people who've tried a ceramic warpig? They might (emphasis on might) have something different to say if they had :P

LOL, thanks for the welcome, deg0ey. "Off topic" tends to be my middle name as of late... though I promise not to stray too far on my tangents.

We know all about straying on tangents, and we very much like it - Use the search button to view some of the completely random threads started/participated in by our beloved Sambo for example
