Big fan of Trouble here! They are the American Sabbath!!

My band played a festival last summer, and Trouble headlined on the first night. (My band was one of the headliners on the second night, with Jag Panzer)

But, I got to listen to some of their soundcheck & met them during the festival.

They should have been huge, they were (are!) absolutely brilliant.

I hear there's a new album on the way soon.  Hope they have a record deal.

I love Trouble.  :)

Picked up a couple of bootleg CDs and all the videos on DVD a few months ago.

Trouble are very cool.  A friend lent me Manic Frustration back in the late '90s sometime and I just sat in a daze listening to it over and over and over for about a month.  And, OK, since then the shock and awe have faded a bit, but I still spin it up frequentlly and keep a healthy selection of Trouble tracks on the iPod.

I'm bummed that I've never seen them -- I discovered them just before Eric Wagner quit and they kind of slipped into uncertainty.  Are they still going then?  Who's in the band?

Also, revealing my status as a closet  Monkees fan (!!), I want to take this opportunity to say that Trouble's cover of "Porpoise Song" on Plastic Green Head is totally awesome!  8)  I dig the guitar tones, too.

Awesome band, just got the "Live in Stockholm" DVD, fantastic stuff.

I admit, I prefer the 80's stuff, but all their albums rock. Kind of a cross between Sabbath & Thin Lizzy (with some Cream thrown in - Tales of Brave Ulysses anyone?).

They are in the process of getting a new album out, I think it's been recorded, they're just looking for a deal/distribution.

The Current Line Up:
Eric Wagner - Vox
Bruce Franklin - Guitars
Rick Wartell - Guitars
Jeff "Olly" Olsen - Drums
Chuck Robinson - Bass

Saw Ron Holzner play with Goatsnake a few years back (awesome bass player), I think he's in Debris Inc with good old Dave Chandler of Saint Vitus fame.

It's possibly going to be around the end of the year last I heard...

Fingers crossed it's not going to be delayed again!
