Errm.. Winston Churchill? I dunno, I'm only 15.

Yeah I know, I wasn't taking the piss, just curious.

It's W C Fields (info here).

W C Fields, oh nice one man! I watched that film It's A Gift once and nearly died laughing, the man was a genius!

I'm listening to Court and Spark by Joni Mitchell 'cos I'm hungover to f*ck! I drank myself stupid yesterday due to that idiot 'Ref' Graham Poll's decisions based on the bungs he took from that French C*nt!
Warpig, MQ,
Miracle Man-Trilogy Suite, Cold Sweats, Black Guards, Rebel Yells & Irish Tours!

Listening to Def Leppard : High and Dry
Probably their best album

It was recorded just after AC/DC's Back In Black using Mutt Lange who had produced for the Aussies too and unsurprisingly sounds rather similar but with Def Lepp songs and vocals
It has EXACTLY the same sound as Back In Black and is surely the heaviest (and best) thing that Def Leppard ever did.

It is so worth hearing as it has so much great guitar work on it and some great rock guitar tones too.....

Also been listening to a Heavy Pettin box set : Pettology
They were Glasgow's answer to Def Leppard and were a great live band

Great fretwork!

Totally agree!

It's interesting that Def Leppard were often accused of not being able to function without Lange, and that "their" sound was really "his" sound (which seemed to be proved by that Bryan Adams album he did later!).

But when he worked with AC/DC, they still sounded like AC/DC.  And he even took "that" sound to his next project.

agree with Feline, High'N'Dry is one of my all time favourite albums, and i absolutely love the guitar sounds on it.  anyone that has written Leppard off as a pop band should give it a listen, it'll surprise you!
