What are we all listening to at the moment.

I'm listening to the very best album of all time, again.
Goddamnit - by Alkaline Trio. I really don't care what anybody else thinks of this album, but i really want you all to give it a listen and draw attention to it because it is a modern masterpiece. Seriously this album is like my theme tune - every song has amazing lyrics that i can relate to exactly. If you ever get bored of 'feel good' music, and fancy a few songs about drunken loneliness, heartbreak, and the general low points of your lives there is no better work in the world than this theme for the masses.
Please guys give it a listen.
On the guitar side of things everybody names Matt Skiba as a pretty poor pop punk guitarist, but as a great fan of all his work - I've got to say he has an extremely unique style, and a very unique tone. Nowhere else will you hear such heartwrenching chainsaw jcm900 riffs. Honestly, although it's simple it is genius.
LOVING the Mules!

going through a post-rock/post-metal/whatever and other experimental and progressive music

Sigur Rós - Takk... (yet again)
Ulver - Perdition City
Ulver - Shadows Of The Sun (absolutely beautiful)
Pelican - The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw
Kwoon - Tales & Dreams
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven
Alcest - Souvenirs D'un Autre Monde
Summoning - Oath Bound
Explosions In The Sky - The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place
Mogwai - Mr. Beast
Immanu El - They'll Come They Come
Neurosis - The Eye Of Every Storm
Bohren & Der Club Of Gore - Sunset Mission
Metal is forever, but I still got the blues for you

still strongly favouring electronic music right now. busting out 'the prodigy', all their stuff really. listening to 'fat of the land' today at work.

I've been listening to more of that kinda stuff recently, its good drinking music! Infected Mushroom is what I've been listening to I think, but Prodigy is great as well.

sure is!

i love headbanging like most of us on this site, but i came into rock and metal late - once rave gets you, it never lets go. i like stuff i can groove my booty to etc etc ;) thing is now i'm a metal fan too i cant help but flick devils horns signs at rave events   they both release the same chemicals after all!

The Darkness, good fun songs with great guitarring. Their bassist is a better singer than Justin though  http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Uaz963He0I4

Right now I'm listening to: Whitesnake Live In The Still Of The Night, and Dio Holy Diver Live.

Both with Doug Aldrich on guitar, he's stunning, and Reb Beach is also brilliant.

Deejay Punk-Roc and any dancehall I seem to be able to find on YouTube.  I'm having a funky kind of month at the minute.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.
