I'm on a silly heavy trip at the minute, mainly because I'm going to see Napalm Death on Monday (and Duke Special with the missus on Sunday, but she listens to him enough for both of us).

Napalm Death and Carcass, mainly. it's great. Kyuss are creeping in round the edges though.

I've been playing along to Pig Irön's Ruler Of Tomorrow.

I've been using the Yamaha SG with Crawlers and the sound is spot on!

not that i'm a fan myself, but although her seeming lack of rythme and melody may seem cr@p, the offset provides something different I guess

like the intro to purple haze is $%&#ed up, but that is definately on purpose

i would rather be wiv your friends mate cos they are much fitterrrrrrrrr

am I speaking cr@p?

Then I wont mention that the GZA's Liquid Swords album has been on heavy rotation on my iPod the past week then

Also the new Funeral For a Friend album is really good. Coming from me that is very odd, the first two were gash.

The Genius! Superb. I think it's the best Wu-Tang project out of the bunch, personally, with Raekwon's "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx..." coming in second.

I'm currently listening to a lot of Factory Records stuff as a small tribute to Tony Wilson (mainly the Durutti Column and Joy Division), and a few rap mixtapes as a tribute to my taste for rap mixtapes. Had some G'n'R on earlier too.

I've also been listening to that, acquired on your recommendation!

Also I've just got the first four Foreigner albums, remastered, on CD.  Double Vision was the very first proper rock album I bought, way back in 1979, so I've always had a soft spot for the band.  They can be very schmaltzy at times, but the heavier stuff is great, and I'm enjoying Mick Jones' guitar playing.  What a fantastic singer Lou Gramm is!
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM
