Captain state the obvious!!

mid 60's to early 90's was best. Obviously there are still good bands in other times just not as many imo.

I LOVE THIS BAND, one of the best of the 80's imo along there with the likes of Tesla etc.

I cant stand that Autograph band, too cheesy and not even the good kind imho :lol:

I've been listening to some stuff by The Hives, havent heard em for ages. this song is great :D


I'm also listening to the pre-Dickinson Maiden albums, I think they were much better with Di'anno

Prowler (first song on the first Iron Maiden album) is my favourite metal song ever. One of the first I heard on a scratchy taping from my dad's old vinyl. Ah memories.

I've got Sirius sattelte radio in my work van and  I  listen to the blues channel the most.  Lonnie baker Brooks,  Hubert Sumlin,  Some old Chess stuff featuring Muddy, Little Walter and Bo Didley.   Also Clarence Gatemouth Brown's "If you ca'nt Lie no better than that... You might as well tell the truth".  Also the Jam band circuit... Max creek w/ Derek Trucks"Louisiana Sun"  Moe.  And the always stellar live Phish Tracks.   Perpetual groove, and Allmans w/ Warren and Derek Trucks " Rocking Horse/Desdemonia.  Fiery, Trancsendant solo by Derek there.  Also heard a live Eric Clapton with good slide.. " Early in the Morning"?
