Randomly grabbed off the shelf:

Diamond Head - Death and Progress

Weird record - not bad exactly, but Diamond Head seemed to totally forget what Diamond Head were all about.  Every time there's a heavy riff, it'll be followed by a poppy, oddly American-sounding chorus.  No consistency at all.  Sean Harris was always a bit of a tit and his vocals here are pretty awful, but I still like Brian Tatler's playing.

(Just seen there's a new DH album out!)
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

eventually we'll turn every thread on this forum over to Tigertailz!!

i've been listening to Original Sin lately too, along with Young and Crazy, the first album you mentioned (for those who don't know).  i've never been willing to pay the (young and) crazy    money it goes for on cd on ebay, so i've transferred my vinyl copy over to the computer and then to cd.  i agree that some of the Original Sin versions sound better, but it's still a great album!  i've been listening to their new one, Thrill Pistol, a lot too.
cry HAVOC!! and let slip the pigs of war!!!

There's a guy in work called James Taylor, and whenever his name is mentioned, we start singing Up On The Roof, Fire And Rain or You've Got A Friend...
