Wishbone Ash - Just Testing

This came out right around the time I was first getting into rock music and religiously listening to Tommy Vance (TV on the Radio) every Friday night.  I always meant to buy it, but somehow it took me 28 years!
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds

Well, you know how it is... the line next to you seems to be moving quicker, so you swap over, then find yourself stuck behind a group of German OAPs on a walking holiday who can't stop asking questions....

....actually, I think it was worth the wait.  What a great album!  :D

Slint - Spiderland. Not sure what I think yet. The first couple of tracks are good but the rest is kinda boring.

Stan Webb's Broken Glass

I saw Chicken Shack back in the late 80s.  I couldn't believe how good Stans playing was.

I've seen him a few times, the last being in 2004 opening for John Mayall at Hammersmith.  I met my mates in a pub by the river before the gig and Stan was drinking there with the rest of the band.  When he overheard my mates wondering what time we should leave, he said don't worry lads, I'll give you the nod when I'm going!

Recently discovered THUNDER (how I missed these I'll never know) really great albums and you can buy pretty much their entire back catalogue on CD for the cost of a packet of opal fruits (sorry......starburst)

AH, Thunder ... good stuff!

Off topic ... there was a brilliant bit involving Opal Fruits in an episode of The Smoking Room.
